Welcome to OYAP in Bruce and Grey Counties
Serving both the Bluewater District School Board and the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, OYAP is a secondary school cooperative education program that allows students to participate in an apprenticeship occupation, while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Students enrolled in a cooperative education course make the connection between what happens in the classroom and what happens in the workplace. It provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate curriculum expectations in an authentic “real life” situation.

The Bluewater District School Board is a learning organization committed to a standard of excellence in fostering the academic, physical, social and emotional development of all our students. We oversee the programs in 43 elementary schools, 11 secondary schools and an outdoor education facility. The central office is located in Chesley with satellite offices in Markdale and Hanover.

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board provides Catholic education which nurtures the development of the whole student through a commitment to learning, celebrating the sacraments, embracing the teachings of Christ and giving witness to Gospel values. We are located in Hanover and oversee the programs in 11 elementary schools and 2 secondary schools.
