Canada Nepal Coalition (CaNepCo) has been established after considerable discussion surrounding the many economic and political problems experienced by citizens of Nepal over the past number of years. During the past several years the Government of Nepal has been attempting to focus in stabilizing the country, but that has not been successfully accomplished for several reasons.
But it has generally been stated that one of the major reasons for the low success rate has been due to a lack of understanding, experience and knowledge on how to develop the potential steps required to create a true form of democracy that will lead to a prosperous civil society.
It is fully recognized that talk alone will not change anything, so a group of Canadian and Nepali leaders have come together to form CANEPCO, with a firm commitment to make a significant difference in the lives of the less fortunate people - one step at a time.
